The Lee county EOC has stated the it does not have the time, money or will to train anyone for CERT. Because of this the Florida Defense Forces are having members trained as CERT instructors. The Florida Defense Forces hope to have 134 CI trained by March of 2010. This will give each county in Florida 2 instructors. Also the CERT classes will be hold monthly and shall cost 35 dollars for none FDF members & 5 dollars for FDF members. Hope this help you all out.
