To the editor:

I am reminded this morning of the opening lines of one of my favorite books by Charles Dickens--"A Tale of Two Cities"--""It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness--"--So right for this crazy time we're living in.

But thank God, here at Fountain Crest, thanks to the amazing management, yes, a ... mazing, of Sally Carman, everything possible is being done for the residents. Everyone cooperating with such love, support, enthusiasm: The kitchen-dining room staff, the office, the maintenance, transportation, housekeeping-- three meals delivered to your door and they're balanced and nutritious--snacks--cleaning constantly--garbage gone almost immediately--making sure doctor's appointment are kept--prescriptions obtained. Our Life Enrichment Director, Debbie Whiteaker, is doing her best to keep everyone positive. You couldn't pick a better place to live during this perilous time. God bless us all.
