Attacks continue despite the facts

To the editor:

Last Sunday was a political junkies' Utopia. The Republicans were hailing the Mueller report and the Fake Media/Democrat cartel was shouting louder to cover up their embarrassing two-year dedication to hanging Trump. I was surprised with the accelerated attacks.

"Evidence" was being expressed by the hour. For example, new nominee Representative Swalwell's statement that there was collusion was supported by the "evidence" that Trump met with Putin and did not release notes of the conversation during their one-on-one meeting. Of course no other president in history has done that either.

Nearly every Democrat/Fake News person accuses Trump of lies. Then I think about Obama saying that ObamaCare would not cost anything, would allow everyone to keep their own doctor and would insure 40 million uninsured Americans. $1.76 trillion (just the Federal cost) later with somewhere between 10 and 20 million still uninsured and medical choices restricted, this lie is never mentioned.

Nor do I hear Democrats talking about lies regarding the Benghazi disaster where four Americans lost their lives because of Obama's resistance to calls of help before and during the attack. The White House blamed the attack on a video made by someone in Florida. You can't make this stuff up.

The topper might be Obama stating that he would deny Iran access to funds through U.S. banks but violated that promise by sending Iran $1.7 billion for hostages and interest on money being held for over 30 years for terrorist activity. There was no lie too big for Obama to get Iran to sign a treaty. The treaty was so bad Obama didn't even submit the treaty to Congress knowing that both sides would reject it.

It looks as if the revenge effort by the cartel will continue. It could never survive without Fake Media's front and center focus on destroying Trump.

If you are not interested in serious issues but like to see a one-sided grudge display, tune in to your local fake news.
