Katherine Luna, 14, of Lehigh Acres, was reported missing last week. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s help locating the teen, who was confirmed found on Aug. 4.

On Aug. 4, the LCSO announced that it was asking for the public's assistance in locating Katherine.

Officials reported that her family was very concerned for her well-being and there was reason to believe she may harm herself.

Katherine had only been in Lee County since March. Prior to that, she lived in Broward County and Miramar County.
