Two doctors join LRMC

Lehigh Regional Medical Center has announced the addition of cardiologist Adrian Danchenko and general surgeon Christopher Staudinger to its team.

Danchenko graduated from the Uniformed Services Medical School in 1990, while serving in the U.S. Navy. He completed graduate medical training at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego and the Walter Reed National Military Center. He became board certified in cardiology in 2001.

Danchenko left active duty service in 2003 and moved with his family to Florida, where he practiced at Cardiology Associates of Stuart and at Tenet Florida Physicians Group in Jupiter for the next 14 years. Danchenko served in the Naval Reserves until his retirement in 2010.

He remains board certificated in cardiology and nuclear cardiology.

Born and raised in Florida, Staudinger graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University. In 2009, he received his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Florida.

Staudinger is a board certified general surgeon and with interests in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, vascular access surgery, endoscopy and wound care.

Chamber to host expo

The Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce will host The Expo on Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lehigh Acres Senior Citizens Center, at 219 Plaza Drive.

In addition to vendors, the business showcase and job fair will feature prizes from area businesses.

For those seeking employment, bring your resume and dress for success. Area businesses are gearing up for season and are looking for new talent to hire.

Food and beverages will be available, with the proceeds benefitting the center.

Booth space reservations are being accepted by the GLACC office; each space will include one 6-foot table and two chairs.

There is a special available for chamber members for $50; non-members can participate with a registration fee of $85. Electricity is available on a first come first serve basis for an additional $10 fee.
