Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect who held up a Circle K at gunpoint in the early morning of July 27.

Just after 3:30 a.m., a light-skinned black man entered the store at 1181 Homestead Road N. and immediately pointed a handgun at the clerk. The man demanded that the clerk open the register, at which point he reached over the counter and grabbed the entire till, according to officials.

The man fled the scene in a silver car with an undisclosed amount of cash.
