Riverdale Branch Library presents programs, activities for month

The roster of activities for April at the Riverdale Branch Library offers topics for all ages.

The following programs are free to the public:

Adult programs

- Game Club Wednesday

1 p.m. April 5, 12, 19 and 26

Play chess, board games and card games old and new.

Storytime

- Family Storytime

10 a.m. April 7, 21 and 28

Your whole family is invited to this enjoyable, all-ages storytime that encourages the development of pre-reading skills through songs, rhymes, fingerplays and stories.

Children's programs

- Kids Read Down Fines

10-11 a.m. April 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29

2-3 p.m. April 7, 14, 21 and 28

Children and teens earn a $2 coupon or credit for every 15 minutes they read in the designated area for a total of $8 in one session. Credit may be applied to cards issued to patrons age 18 and under and applies only to overdue charges.

The Riverdale Branch Library is at 2421 Buckingham Road, Fort Myers.
