Lehigh Regional Medical Center changes Senior Extra to Senior Circle

Lehigh Regional is proud to announce that the program Senior Extra has now become Senior Circle. This unique program for adults over the age of 50 will now include even more benefits to help members get the most out of life.

Lehigh Regional Medical Center is launching Senior Circle to provide people age 50 and better with an outlet for enjoying their golden years and pursuing an active lifestyle, while learning about health and wellness, and meeting others. Senior Circle membership provides a variety of benefits, including social opportunities, health education programs, exercise classes, volunteerism and entertainment. The chapter joins a network of more than 140 chapters nationwide, reaching more than 100,000 members.

Lehigh Regional will kick off its Senior Circle chapter with an Open House on Nov. 6 from 3-5 p.m. at the hospital cafeteria. Free flu shots will be available to existing and new members, health screenings and tour of the hospital will be provided. Prize drawings and refreshments will be offered. All members who attend will receive 10 "Circle Bucks." Non-members will have the opportunity to join the Senior Circle program at the open house event.

Regularly-planned activities will include Breakfast with the Doctor twice a month, monthly Diabetes and Living with Loss groups, Lunch 'n Learn Seminars, quarterly Circle Auctions, (where members use their Auction Bucks to bid on various fun items) and more. Other perks that Senior Circle members will enjoy include a subscription to the national award-winning magazine, "Inside Circle," as well as "Circle News," a local chapter newsletter featuring upcoming events, hospital updates, trips, local discounts, physician information and a calendar of activities.

Members also receive in-hospital benefits at Lehigh Regional Medical Center, including a private room upgrade, when available, a VIP gift bag, free meal in cafeteria for companion; VIP parking, discounts in the cafeteria and gift shop, national discounts on prescription drugs, vision care, hearing care, dental, car rentals, travel and home emergency response systems, plus discounts at numerous local Lehigh Acres businesses - all for just $15 per year, the annual cost of membership.
